Coasters: Functional Resin Art

Coasters: Functional Resin Art

Create a functional piece of art inspired by the beauty of the sea.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll design a set of stunning resin coasters using layered pigments, shimmering mica powders, white ocean waves, and optional embellishments like crushed glass, shells, or sand to capture the movement and colors of the shoreline.

Working with resin is both creative and meditative as you pour, blend, and watch each layer transform into a one-of-a-kind coastal masterpiece. No two coasters are ever the same—each one reflects the natural ebb and flow of the ocean.

Throughout the workshop, you'll be invited to slow down, embrace the unexpected, and appreciate the beauty that emerges when you let go of perfection. Just as every wave leaves a unique imprint on the shore, your artwork will become a meaningful reminder of creativity, resilience, and the calming rhythm of nature.

What’s Included:

  • Learn the fundamentals of working safely with art resin.

  • Mix and tint resin using ocean-inspired pigments and metallic powders.

  • Create realistic wave effects and layered coastal designs.

  • Personalize coasters with optional natural elements and embellishments.

  • Leave with a beautiful set of 4 handcrafted resin coasters perfect for your home or as a thoughtful gift.
