All watercolour supplies are included! Something you don’t get at most art retreats. And they come in a signature watercolour canvas bag made by yours truly.

Art is therapy. Team that in a gorgeous setting and it becomes an unforgettable experience. 

Allow yourself to ‘be present’ and take it all in, as you learn to let loose and ‘go with the flow’ over three en plein air watercolor workshops. Benefit from this in-person experience as we explore loose watercolours.

we will Gain more from one-on-one guidance, instruction and live demonstrations during our watercolor workshops together. All levels of experience are welcome. Come with an open mind to relax and express over romantic watercolour.

This allows you to travel light without having to pack a bunch of art supplies. But feel free to bring your favourite products to use for ‘me time’ painting if you wish to do so.

As soon as you arrive at Ancora del Chianti you will forget that ‘to-do list’. Breathe in nature, surrounded with panoramic views of the gorgeous Tuscan rolling hills. This gorgeous family run agriturismo boasts comfortable and warm accommodations, decorated with traditionally periodic furnishings. 

Each room is unique and comes with it’s own assigned gazebo, overlooking some of the most beautiful views ever. The apartments are furnished with a  taste of the ancient, (rustic furniture, wooden beams, terracotta floors etc..) and come equipped with a private en suite bathroom.

All meals including the delicious buffet breakfast are prepared by Laura & team using all produce from their farm. All dietary requirements or allergies/intolerances can be accommodated.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Works from the heART retreat rates are listed in USD per person. After completing an interest form, a  non-refundable $500.00 deposit is required to secure the reservation. 

    Future installment payments are sent via invoice.

    If the installment payment is not settled on the date issued via invoice, the held space will be released (cancelled) and the deposit will be held in credit and can be applied to another date in full as per our cancellation policy below. You will be responsible for any differences in cost based on the rescheduled/credited retreat.

  • It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.

    Our cancellation policy is strict and firm. Cancellation/travel insurance is HIGHLY SUGGESTED to visit Italy to protect you and your investment.

    In the event of your cancellation:

    • The initial $500.00 paid deposit to secure your spot is non refundable and non transferable.

    • Cancellations on or before January 1, 2026: You will forfeit your deposit and any installment payments made due to the nature of the retreat payment structure.

    • Any cancellations made after January 1, 2026 are 100% non-refundable.

    • Your deposit OR Payment In Full reserves your spot. Then balance due by February 1, 2026 unless otherwise discussed. You may request a payment plan although not guaranteed. All bookings after January 1, 2026 must be made in full unless you opted and were approved for a payment plan otherwise noted.

  • If Works from the heART must cancel (specifically, not run) a booked retreat date for any reason, other than not disclosing pre-exisiting conditions, you may transfer your full payment to another retreat package and date, or you may request a full refund of your payment to us constituting a full settlement. Refunds will be provided only through the original mode of payment. Works from the heART is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
