Beginner’s Crochet: Cozy Bookmarks

  • Works From the HeART 301 W North Bend Way Suite 100A North Bend, WA 98045 United States (map)

Dive into the world of working with your hands through crochet, where simple stitches create calm, focus, and something beautiful to take home.

Whether you’ve felt intimidated by yarn crafts, are looking to learn a versatile new skill, or simply enjoy trying creative hobbies, this beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to start with Guest Fiber Artist, Marisa Reinsch.

We’ll begin with the absolute basics—how to comfortably hold a crochet hook and get your yarn moving. From there, you'll learn foundational stitches and practice them step-by-step as you create your very own crocheted bookmark. Our heart-themed patterns build skills gradually and can be adjusted to match your comfort level—just in time for Valentine’s Day! I’ll be right beside you the whole time to explain techniques, help you read the pattern, and support you as you make each stitch.
