Beginner’s Crochet: Flower Magnets

  • Works From the HeART 301 W North Bend Way Suite 100A North Bend, WA 98045 United States (map)

Dive into the world of working with your hands through crochet, where simple stitches create calm, focus, and something beautiful to take home.

In this beginner class with Guest Fiber Artist, Marisa Reinsch, we will learn how to crochet in the round, join a new color of fabric, finish off a piece, and add a magnet. You will receive enough materials to make about 6 flowers.

Once you know the principle for making flowers, you will be able to make them in all shapes and sizes for many different applications including jewelry, hair clips, car hangings, embellishments for clothes or purses, and home décor (materials not included).

The Details

  • Two and a half hours of time to learn & create

  • All materials for the project are included

  • Note: If you are completely new to crochet, I strongly recommend that you attend a session of Comfy Crochet Community in order to learn the basic stitches before starting this flower project. Our next meeting is on Thursday, April 16, at Works from the heART. We are a very supportive group and all levels are welcome!
