Invite your whole body to create in this intuitive art experience.
Step into the freedom of painting on a large scale as you create an expressive sky filled with movement, color, and emotion. In this immersive workshop, we'll focus less on experiencing the joy of creating through bold gestures, intuitive mark-making, and playful exploration.
Working on a large canvas invites your whole body into the creative process. Using oversized brushes, palette knives, and sweeping arm movements, you'll layer and blend paint to create soft gradients, dramatic clouds, and luminous skies. Rather than painting from rigid instructions, you'll be encouraged to respond to the colors, textures, and movement unfolding on the canvas, allowing your intuition to guide each brushstroke.
Participants Will:
Paint on a large-scale 30×40” gallery-wrapped canvas with confidence.
Blend acrylic paint using large brushes to create smooth transitions and atmospheric skies.
Use movement, rhythm, and full-body gestures to create expressive marks.
Build depth and dimension through layers of color and texture.
Let go of perfection and embrace curiosity, play, and the creative process.
