Textured Florals: Painting on Wood

  • Works from the heART LLC 301 W North Bend Way Suite 100A (map)

Join us for a delightful and relaxed evening in a paint and sip style event. Whilst enjoying some delicious drinks from local wineries, you will create your own masterpiece to take home at the end of the workshop in a color scheme of your choice.

Texture!!!! My love of texture is what originally drew me to palette knife play with paint.

What Is Impasto?

Impasto is more than a technique—it’s a sensory experience. Imagine the tactile pleasure of applying lush, buttery paint with a palette-knife or brush, creating lifelike, 3-dimensional flowers and petals

Our focus? Gorgeous blooms that seem to leap off the canvas, casting shadows and dancing with light. 🌼✨

In this class, we will explore:

  • Creating impasto florals through layered palette knife painting

  • Tips and tricks for creating with your palette knife

  • How to create dimension in your abstract sill life paintings

  • Getting thick with acrylics and how to go about it

Includes:

  • All art materials including paints, thickening medium, brushes, etc.

  • Wooden board for wall-hanging that will act as your canvas
